All new students are issued with a University of Stirling student ID card. In order to produce your ID card we need you to upload your photograph which you can do via your 'My Portal Pre Enrolment' page or 'My Portal', just look for the 'Upload ID Card Photo' link. The process should take no more than 10 minutes and you will receive notification once your image has been submitted and approved for your ID card.
Please refer to the following link for details on how and when to collect your ID card.

As you have been identified as being a student in receipt of a Tier 4 (general) Students Visa, your passport must be checked before your ID card can be issued. Please ensure you bring your passport along with a photocopy of both your passport and visa with you when you come to collect your ID card otherwise we will be unable to issue it.
The University of Stirling is required to inform the UK Border Agency of those students who do not collect their ID card. Therefore if you do not collect your ID card we will assume that you are not intending to commence your studies at the University of Stirling and we will notify the UK Border Agency
You will need to bring proof of identity with you in order to collect your ID card - NO PROOF OF IDENTITY, NO ID CARD:
- Either your full valid passport or if you do not have a passport, two of the following:
- A (full or provisional) photographic driving licence
- An original birth certificate (in English)
- A cheque book or debit or credit card (one only)
- An international driving licence
You will not be deemed to be an enrolled student until you have collected your ID card.
